A few things I believe
A few thoughts on people, possibility, and why “we’ve always done it that way” is usually the beginning of an interesting conversation.
01 · On strategy
Clarity precedes velocity.
Busy isn’t the same as moving. Find the thing that changes the rest before you add another meeting.
02 · On capability
The right capability is usually already in the room.
Sometimes the answer isn’t another hire. It’s helping the people you already have see how their pieces fit.
03 · On systems
A good system gives everyone a little breathing room.
Who’s doing what shouldn’t be a recurring mystery. Clear roles and simple ways of working leave more room for the good stuff.
04 · On decisions
A meeting is not a next step.
Listen well. Ask the awkward-but-useful question. Make the call. Then make sure someone knows what happens next.
05 · On connection
Some people really should know each other.
The right introduction can change the whole conversation. Sometimes connecting two dots is more useful than drawing a new map.
06 · On activation
Give people a reason to show up.
A community doesn’t happen because you put it on a slide. It happens when people see a place for themselves — and a reason to come back.
